After Many Conversations, Tests, And Iterations, The Space Has Become More Alive Than Ever.

After many conversations, tests, and iterations, the space has become more alive than ever.  With the help of Zen and Garrett, we have many new additions to our experience, such as the main menu and a fully textured stage.  Much of the work this past week has been dedicated to developing the navigation between Hoverlay spaces and bringing in placeholders for the final assets we plan to utilize.

Though tedious at times, my work to structure the sequences has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the project thus far.  Watching my team test my builds has been amazing, and the feedback has been invaluable to getting the experience closer than ever to the final product.  I’m thankful I have not encountered any major hurdles within Hoverlay.  In fact, the main obstacles so far have mainly been large file sizes, but these obstacles have been remedied thanks to Zen’s handiwork in Blender.

A few weeks ago, we only had two, nearly blank, spaces. Today, we sit at having six functioning spaces, each equipped with functioning navigation and 3D assets. The growth and expansion within Hoverlay have been awesome, and the team’s combined efforts are elevating our project, bringing it even closer to the great experience we envisioned.
