I made this portrait a few years ago with MUA Belvia Rivas and this was one of my favorite images from the shoot because I loved how you can see the strength and the vulnerability shining through her eyes. She is such a beautiful woman anyway, but this image meant a lot to me because it reminds me of the strength of a woman on her terms and not on a man's. I've been thinking about that a lot tonight.
