Physical therapy is very funny. I'm happy to report that my hand is doing a whole lot better now though and I have pretty much gained all the feeling back in my finger! Yay!
This is what was on my hand -- wax! It was warming and had essential oils in it. It was very nice. They also put my hand in a heated sand blowing machine to help reset my finger sensitivity and they did a little ultrasound on the scar to loosen it up. It was really weird and cool to try all that stuff.
I love my physical therapist because she gets that I like to play with all the neat textures and toys they have so she lets me have fun when I'm there 😊
Honestly, I didn't know that recovery was going to be this involved. I thought I'd be back to normal by now but it turns out the recovery time for something like this is longer than I thought. It's not the end of the world or anything, just irritatingly inconvenient at times.
