I made this #dailysketchext because I liked the lighting. It's from the '30s/'40s and is not particularly popular right now. This was when all you had to work with were hot lights (as opposed to strobes [which are also known as flashes]). I've looked at a lot of this old film photography and I've seen some really amazing stuff done with those lights. Part of me would like to do a photo project (like maybe a blog or something) copying a bunch of these style of photographs and try to recreate some of those lovely affects and atmosphere... There are just so many things I want to do though, ya know?
