I think Monday is a better day for a #tbt #dailysketchext because... well, because I say so and its my photo stream and I can... So: I drew this with the crayons available to me at a restaurant on the white paper mat that covered our table. I was with my family for our used-to-be-weekly Saturday morning breakfast. I had just told them about a decision I was making about what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I was 15. My family didn't take it well. It was the first time I can remember ever really and truly disagreeing with them on something in a way that mattered. I drew this and wrote "on my own" on the side of it in purple crayon, which has now faded. I've kept it all these years as a keepsake... Don't worry, I still love my family very much and all, and I'm pretty sure they still love me, in fact they are probably reading this right now... (Hi mom!)
