This #dailysketchext is an oldie but goodie and also morphed into a painting, but not exactly in this form. I kept the girl on the right, but I put her in a different situation, keeping with the same idea (surrounded by cut outs from beauty magazines)... I do enjoy pretty dresses and makeup for the opportunities it presents to express myself, and I love style, but... I have felt like the girl in this drawing for pretty much my whole life. It's hard for me to put into words what I mean by that. I hope you can see it in the expression on her face.
