This bumper sticker is completely inappropriate in San Diego. I can understand this bumper sticker in, say Huntington Beach where there is only one good wave by the North side of the pier, but in SD? There are plenty of waves to go around here. Aside from that, surfing is good for the environment because it makes people more environmentally sensitive. If you spend a lot of time in the ocean, you are definitely going to appreciate it more. Hence the Surfrider Foundation. So, don't listen to this guy--surf on!
