This is what I do in my spare time... This is our table, I'm in the process of giving it a new look on the top. Just finished the decoupage, now comes the poly coating. This is my first time working with these particular materials, I'll let you know what happens...
It's all classical Persian-ish stuff. I was inspired by the romantic European painters who traveled to Spain (and beyond) to see Alhambra and old school Middle Eastern stuff like that. They idealized the culture, which I kind of wanted to do here so as to focus on the pretty things, since it's more often these days that the only things people tend to focus on about the Middle East are ugly things.
