The problem with posting these kind of photographs online instead of print is that you cannot really see them as they are. I never used to understand that until I revisited the work of an old friend of mine who refused to do digital. Looking at his prints recently, I finally understood what he was talking about. There are some things that you just have to see on paper to understand. So, maybe you can understand why this is kind of cool as I post this here, but I would love for you to come see this work at the show on June 6th and understand what it is I am really getting at.
Art/design/sculpture/love whatever you want to call it can be found everywhere around us. These are trees in Denmark covered in snow and frost. I did nothing to them, just photograph them as the low winter sun rays came at them sideways. I know the world is hard on us these days, but isn't there beauty and reminders of love around you in the details of your everyday life too? Don't miss them. Right now we need them more than ever.
