There is a new app called Gig Town and it is all about local music. It's several apps all in one. It has a radio station in it featuring artists local to you, it also has profiles of local musicians, it also shows you where they are playing next--AND MY FAVORITE PART! If you check in at one of the shows, the app tips the band!!! You don't pay anything! You just check in at the show and they tip the band actual cash money! Yes!! They also have a booking section where you can book the local bands to play a show for you and it lists their rates! So so so cool!!! Download this app!
