Ok, I swear, I had it all planned out this morning, I was going to draw you a lovely pair of hands open towards you with a lot of beautiful things in them like music, dancing, nature and other gifts that make life worthwhile like that for the #dailysketchext, however, I have just finished reading "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up" (people keep talking about it around me) and so I was inspired to power through the first round of going through my things today, and I found this conte sketch and started cracking up. It's probably more hilarious to me than it is to you, but this is from a funny day where I was just having this burning desire to draw something, anything! And since I was with Simon and we were in Little Italy, we went to Blick and bought whatever paper and drawing medium was on the discount table (it's right by the door) and thought it would be romantic to sit at a cafe while I drew him. Oh my goodness, this is when I was introduced to my wonderful husband's inability to sit still, and this lopsided portrait is the result. One eye is going one way, one the other. Part of his face shape was drawn when he was turned more towards me, the other when he was turned farther away... Hilarious... I love you babe!
