So with this #dailysketchext I'm sort of working my way through another artist to feel my way around a different way style of art. I am not, and have never been a Catholic, but I did study Italian Renaissance art on my own for a while before I went to Italy the first time. Studying the way the artists worked back then was fascinating and helped me to appreciate what I was seeing around me when I actually got to Italy. Studying the work of other artists is something I use to inspire me when I get stuck.
