You may not think it when you look at it, but this is a photo of three of the biggest nerds you ever wanted to meet. The one on the right was a web programmer back in the '90s when you actually had to write in html and created a website with an integrated webshop using eBay (she was one of the first 50 people to use it or something like that), the one in the middle has written a book on Quantum Mechanics that has been reviewed by people working at NASA, the one on the left is a hobbyist astronomer and oceanographer. All three are dedicated sci-fi fans. And in this photo they are at the Griffith Park Observatory waiting for the sun to set so that they can stand in line for 45 minutes to look at Jupiter through a telescope.
