This #dailysketchext is of some recent fashion flats that are only done in pencil (normally these would be inked and shaded with a marker when done by hand). Also, the layout is not very portfolio ready, as it would be better to have them in some kind of attractive layout, but the flats themselves, although simple, are the basic idea of what this technical drawing should look like. The main book that we are learning this stuff from is this one. It's very good. It also talks about how to do these on the computer. Knowing how to do both and having both in your portfolio is good for landing that entry level fashion industry job you are looking for, if you are looking for one. This is a legit skill (and takes legit skills) and is a legit job that is relevant and will continue to be, even as things become more and more computerized. I'm just letting all of you out there know who have come to me and expressed an interest in this stuff that this could be something for you to look into. (Hope this helps! Love you!)
