This is my next experiment with watermarking my images.

Although I like the thin, black, simple frame, and there is something nice about having the text on the image, I feel it is a tad obtrusive. What do you think?

As my friend and graphic designer, //www.flickr.com/photos/39978744@N02/" data-mce-href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/39978744@N02/">Nathan ThomasThat is a problem for people who could download the file or do a screen grab and cut out the image from the frame with a crop tool. However, I don't know how effective directly watermarking an image would be anyway after PhotoShopCS5 comes out., pointed out about the previous watermark, although its "sexxy", it doesn't do much to protect the image itself.

Simon thinks it would be cool if we could develop a new format for picture viewing all together that makes it impossible to steal images. Something that works like Flash, but has some JavaScript running in it that doesn't allow you to do a screen grab either. While I think this is a good idea, I wonder if Steve would allow it to work in his iUniverse

I promise, I never used to know anything about computers. I never kept up with what was the newest hippest technological device that one just had to have. Digital photography has turned me into a nerd :-P
