Whew! Part one of this #dailysketchext is finished! More assignment work. If I had known what I was getting into when I picked that finger wave hairstyle, I would have probably picked something else. This sketch is to practice fashion faces for our croquis body. We had to practice with the big one and then faces of 4 different ethnicities for the small ones and two back of the head with hairstyles. They were all supposed to be short hair, but I love drawing hair so I have a hard time not getting carried away. I had to photoshop this one a bit to darken it because the pencil on the newsprint wasn't showing up very well on the paper, but other than that, nothing has been changed... That took me an unnecessarily long time. I've got to stop procrastinating and just believe in myself for goodness sake!
