As you can see, this #dailysketchext has endured some abuse. It too used to be a page from a magazine, but then I painted over it with acrylic. The painting is of a photograph I made in Florence. I let some of the magazine page show through in the sky of the sunset--that's why you can see the women on the left. All in all it takes less than half an hour to do this. Maybe even 15-20 min, and the results are always at least interesting. I encourage you to give it a try for yourself. This one has also been decoupaged onto my bookshelf (and it's towards the bottom, hence all the abuse it's taken).
